Our commitment
Our mission is to ensure our clients around the world a transparent and high-quality product that reflect the best of the Maipo Valley, guaranteeing the responsible use of resources in its process.
Our cellar represents an entire community that lives in this area. They built it with their own hands from stones, a very representative element of Chile and especially of this area. With much effort and dedication they created this place for the production of our best wines, the result of which we are very proud today.
For us, this winery has additional value because it has a connection with the community. It is a memory of all the people who made it possible and we want it to be so for those who visit us
Our place
MAIPO ANDES
We have lived all our lives in Pirque, in the depths of the Maipo Valley, at the foot of the Andes mountain range. That is why we chose this magical place where the Spanish conquerors decided to plant the first vineyard in Chile, here they found the perfect terroir to grow vines, mainly Cabernet Sauvignon.

FAMILIES
Andrés is the grandson of Francisco Pérez, an important grape grower in the Maule Valley. Alicia is the granddaughter of Pedro Undurraga, owner and developer of one of the oldest and largest Chilean wineries, The Undurraga Wine Company. If ever two people were born to make wine, it was Andrés and Alicia.

From the first days of our marriage, we decided to dedicate ourselves to our mutual passion: wine. The first step through participating in Santa Carolina winery´s property during its period of growth.
"SANTA ALICIA"
WINERY
Later, together with the help of some friends, we took a risk and founded Viña Santa Alicia, in honor of Alicia's name. Viña Santa Alicia enjoyed 17 years of success before merging with Bethia Wine Group, one of the most prominent wine companies in Chile. At the time, Santa Alicia was exporting nearly 4 million bottles of premium wines every year.

Our History
Alyan Family Wines was born in 2001 as the result of wine passion, quality focus and hard work of marriage between Alicia Balmaceda and Andrés Perez.
